Interior Redesign Before and
After
From Dread to Red ~ Irene
Woodworth, One Day Redesigns,
Inc.
Before: This family room was
cluttered and lifeless. The
client wanted to add some warmth
and drama to this room.
After: We added red paint to
this accent wall and opened up
the space with our redesign. We
gave it the "Wow Factor" it
desperately needed!
Real Estate Staging Tip
No Cost Staging ~ Nancy Faust,
Interiors Redesigned by Nancy
EASY, NO COST STAGING!
Just by treating the window as
one unit instead of 4 makes the
dining room feel bigger. This
was an easy fix by pulling the
center panels to join the end
panels which made them fuller.
The only other change needed was
switch out the placemats to a
bolder color and add a higher
center piece, all for no cost.

Designing Your Holiday
Tablescape ~ Pam Faulkner,
Faulkner House
Find your focus and inspiration
and your holiday tablescape will
fall into place. Your display
may be influenced by your
dinnerware, linens or
accessories, but you are not
locked in to the same look year
after year. Take inventory and
see what patterns emerge.
For a change, layer linens over
a solid colored tablecloth. Use
one or two runners that will
complement the colors in your
room, china pattern or
accessories. No runner? Fold a
tablecloth lengthwise in half
and then in half again by
turning the edges inside,
leaving a nice fold on each end.
Make a point and pin a tassel or
ornament at each end.
Alternately, use napkin rings or
ribbon on the ends and flair out
the fabric in a fan shape. Try
using two runners across the
width of the table, dividing the
table in thirds, or one down the
center and one across (like a
wrapped package).
It’s not too late to get
organized for the holidays and
still save your sanity. Here are
some tips to keep you on track
for this holiday season.
1. Organize a gift wrap area.
Designate an area in your home
where you can keep everything
you need for gift wrapping. You
will need a table for wrapping,
tape, scissors, ribbons and
bows, wrapping paper, gift tags,
and your gift list. Drape the
table with a large tablecloth
and store items underneath and
out of sight.
2. Organize your Christmas card
list. Get your address book,
last years Christmas cards, and
phone book to make a list of
everyone you will be sending
cards to this year. On the list
include headings for name,
address, and card sent columns.
Then when you get some time to
address envelopes you will know
who you need to sent to, and if
you have already sent one. Keep
this list in a holiday binder so
it will be at your fingertips
for next year.

someone this Christmas? We have thought it through
for you. Come in to browse
